Shop Assistant Xeen

Reports to: Duty Free Supervisor

Location: Georgetown, Guyana

Description

As a Shop Assistant at Xeen, you are the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in delivering excellent service and a seamless shopping experience. You are responsible for assisting customers in selecting products, keeping the store organized, and supporting daily retail operations. You are hands-on, customer-focused, and passionate about fashion and retail.

Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma
  • 6 month to 1 year of experience in retail, preferable in fashion
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Customer-friendly and sales-driven mindset
  • Organized and proactive attitude
  • Team player with a flexible schedule and available to work weekends and holidays
  • Good command of English, spoken and written

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Service & Sales
    • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
    • Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
    • Promote new arrivals, offers, and loyalty programs
    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints appropriately
  1. Store Operations
    • Label and price store items accurately
    • Restock shelves and ensure the sales floor is clean and organized
    • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge
    • Support visual merchandising and display setup
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
