Marketing Manager

Description

As our new Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that strengthen the position of our brands in the Surinamese market. You will lead a dynamic marketing team, oversee campaigns across multiple channels, and ensure alignment between marketing efforts and overall business objectives. This role is essential in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sustainable growth for Simextra’s portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related commercial discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing or brand management
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (Dutch is an advantage)
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand positioning, and digital marketing strategies
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and campaigns across various channels
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, marketing analytics tools, and social media platforms)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Simextra’s brands and services
  • Design, manage, and evaluate marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure cost efficiency and strong ROI
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, using data insights to guide future campaigns and strategic decisions
