Finance Administrator

Reports to: Finance Supervisor

Location: Providence, Guyana

Description

As a Finance Administratorat Simextra Trading, you will support the financial operations of the company by ensuring accurate handling of financial transactions, processing billings, and assisting in the management of customer accounts. You will work closely with the Finance team and other departments to maintain financial accuracy, ensure timely collections, and support the day-to-day flow of financial processes. This position plays an important role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in finance or administration
  • Familiarity with basic accounting and financial procedures
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, especially Excel)

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and administer financial claims and billings
  • Ensure timely and accurate collection of payments from customers
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure correct billing and invoicing
  • Resolve customer payment issues professionally and efficiently
  • Reconcile debtor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist the Finance Manager and broader Finance team where needed

Computer Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for tracking and reporting
