Duty-Free Sales & Marketing Manager

Description

The Duty-Free Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for leading all commercial and promotional activities within the Duty-Free division. Based at the head office in Suriname, this role focuses on developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans, strengthening the brand presence, and expanding the customer network. The Sales and Marketing Manager ensures business objectives are achieved through a combination of market insight, creative campaigns, and strong leadership. This includes aligning the team with company goals and continuously optimizing internal processes to support growth.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Sales or equivalent qualification
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a sales or marketing role

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate market insights into clear commercial objectives, strategic plans, and actionable steps
  • Conduct independent sales negotiations and client meetings
  • Develop detailed business cases for new opportunities
  • Lead and participate in sales and marketing meetings and activities
  • Identify PR opportunities and prepare press releases to maximize free publicity
  • Manage and optimize website content to ensure up-to-date and effective communication
  • Oversee paid media campaigns (online advertisements and sponsored content)
  • Monitor and guide the organization’s social media strategy
  • Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines and corporate identity across all channels
