The Duty-Free Cashier is a service-minded and organized team member responsible for managing transactions accurately and efficiently. This role includes handling payments (cash, credit, debit), scanning and packaging items, processing returns, and balancing the cash register. The cashier identifies customer needs and recommends suitable products to enhance the shopping experience, all while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Availability: Willing to work flexible shifts
Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar customer-facing or cashier role
Accuracy: Maintains precision in handling payments and data entry
Responsibility: Takes ownership of assigned tasks and duties
Helpfulness: Proactively assists customers and team members
Communication: Clearly expresses ideas and actively listens
Customer-Focused: Provides friendly and effective service at all times
