Driver

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Location: Providence, Guyana

Description

As a Driver, you play a key role in our warehouse and logistics operations. You are responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using a truck, as well as supporting loading, unloading, and warehouse activities.

You work closely with the warehouse team to ensure goods are properly loaded, transported, and delivered. This position is ideal for a reliable, responsible, and flexible driver who is willing to support hands-on warehouse work in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Requirements

Education: Basic education level
Licenses: Valid heavy truck driver’s license
Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver and/or in logistics or warehouse operations is an advantage
Skills: Safe driving skills, physical strength, sense of responsibility, and good teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate trucks for the transportation of goods
  • Load and unload goods at the warehouse and delivery locations
  • Ensure cargo is properly secured before transport
  • Assist with moving, stacking, and organizing goods in the warehouse
  • Support order picking and preparation for deliveries
  • Handle goods carefully to prevent damage
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, loading, and unloading areas
  • Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures
  • Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or vehicle issues to the supervisor
  • Perform other logistics-related tasks as assigned
