Inventory Officer

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Paramaribo, Suriname

Description

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment? We are looking for an Inventory Officer to join our team.

As an Inventory Officer, you will assist in conducting inventory counts across all warehouses in Suriname and, if required, in Guyana. You will help ensure accurate stock levels and proper inventory administration.

Requirements

  • MBO level (secondary vocational education) or equivalent work and thinking level
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
  • Flexible and willing to work on Saturdays and Sundays if required
  • Willingness to travel within Suriname and possibly to Guyana
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous warehouse experience is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting inventory counts in all warehouses in Suriname and possibly Guyana
  • Check, count, and record goods and stock accurately
  • Assist in preparing and processing inter-branch transfers
  • Identify and report stock discrepancies
  • Maintain order and accuracy within the warehouse environment

Organizational Skills – Able to plan and execute inventory tasks efficiently across multiple locations.

Teamwork & Communication – Works effectively with warehouse staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
